Is this picture too dark? [closed]

Probably some personal taste applies here too, but

1. Would be better to have things more bright in order to have some area which are at the bright end of the range?
2. Actually the border up right of the flower is white so probably rising brightnes or exposition would give some overexposed areas?

The highlights on the flower are very close to pure white - I measure RGB(252, 252, 252), so on that basis, no.

As dpollitt says, anything else is subjective.
